Welcome

The purpose of the Cheatham County TN Beekeepers Association is to educate the public about the beneficial aspects of honey bees, advance research beneficial to beekeeping practices, provide a forum for cooperation among beekeepers, and to support the economic and political viability of the beekeeping industry.

The easiest way to join is to simply show up at our next meeting, which is held at First Baptist Church of Ashland City in Ashland City, TN. We look forward to seeing you.

Meetings are held on the 2nd Monday of the month from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the First Baptist Church in Ashland City, TN. All are welcome!

Get Started

The Cheatham County Beekeepers Association (CCBA) meets monthly throughout the year and welcomes everyone to attend and learn more about beekeeping and how you can get involved. Our meetings and planned events include both classroom training and hands-on site training opportunities.

Got Swarm?

Don’t panic—honey bee swarms are gentle and temporary. They’re full of honey, have no hive to defend, and rarely sting. As local Cheatham County beekeepers, we safely capture and relocate swarms to new hives at no charge (donations accepted). Contact us now for quick, humane help—swarms can move fast!
